It's a lot more engaging to teach a lesson that challenges students to think harder. Here are some phenomena that point to "Big Science Ideas" and implicitly ask students to figure out "what's happening here?"

This folder contains assessment ideas that are in the spirit of "Ambitious Science Teaching". This means that students will be making and justifying claims in these assessments as they demonstrate to you their knowledge and understanding of the topic.

Add these to your existing repertoire of tests to get a fuller picture of your students' abilities.
